The SIIM 2011 Imaging Informatics Professional Bootcamp is independent of the ABII Imaging Informatics certification program, which requires a separate application.  The imaging informatics professional certification program is governed by the American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII), an independent certifying body and organization. ABII volunteers and staff are not involved in the development of any educational, preparatory program. ABII and its staff are solely responsible for the policies and administration of the ABII program, including application deadline and eligibility requirements.
