SIIM 2011 continues to demonstrate the high-quality of science in the field of imaging informatics through our peer-reviewed, integrated scientific program. Featured this year are 56 abstracts, including extended abstracts by authors who have received or are eligible to receive annual SIIM awards, such as New Investigator and Bauman Awards.
The scientific program also features poster and demonstration exhibits on display throughout the meeting, which culminate in the Poster and Demonstration Session featuring roving tours and one-on-one discussions with the authors. Due to the success of contexting (sending in questions to the session moderator via text message) at SIIM 2009 and 2010, we will once again be incorporating this instant Q&A technology into our Scientific Sessions.
Objective:
Examine the latest theories, concepts and experiments developed by those working in the world of imaging informatics.
